The Ulna

The ulna (elbow bone) is a long bone, prismatic in form, placed at the medial side of the forearm, parallel with the radius, with which it is associated at the elbow and wrist joints, and also cross attached by a flexible sheet - like the two posts of a canvas stretcher. The fibers are so organized so as to take the load when one pushes something heavy.
